History - Leigh Dunkason DD MCDP PDT

Fully Qualified denturist and renowned cosmetic denture adviser with over 25 years experience in denture construction. Leigh is one of only two dental technicians in the Hampshire area, currently holding the advanced qualification DD recognized throughout Canada, America and many European countries. Leigh initially trained as a dental technician in 1980 and worked as an apprentice to his father who has been a technician since 1943. This wealth of experience has been passed  down through the years to Leigh. After serving a 5 year apprenticeship in dental technology, Leigh Qualified with distinction from Southampton city technical collage.

Leigh visited Canada in 1995 to study as a denturist. A denturist has direct chair side clinical contact with the patient helping to ensure optimum results for the denture wearer.Embarking on perfection Leigh was traveled far, attending courses in Switzerland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Holland, Canada and USA.

He prides himself on providing a bespoke denture service direct to the public and concentrates on obtaining optimum results regarding fit, function and cosmetics in denture construction.
